All Krone's butterfly mowers utilise the SafeCut Shear pin protection system and Krone’s fully welded one piece cutterbar with life time oil filling. EasyCut B mowers provide superior functionality and precise cuts with a massive working width of up to 10.1 metres. EasyCut B models perfectly adapt to changing ground conditions, resulting in even cuts without compromise even in dense grass, high field forage or difficult meadows. Measuring less than 4m high and 3m wide when folded, these mower combinations use little storage space. Extra stability on the EasyCut B 1000 when in storage comes from an outrigger on the cutterbar and hoop guards. With the Collect system, cross conveyor belts deliver clean and perfect swaths that are easy to pick up by harvesters, resulting in loss-free harvests. The ­­Krone Collect system offers multiple setting options, making it suitable for any situation. The decks behind the augers open and close hydraulically for convenient selection of one of the three swathing modes from the cab: swathing, independent swathing or no swathing. When equipped with a conditioner, the Collect System groups three passes into one – cutting, conditioning and swathing. By reducing the number of passes the risk of crop damage and contamination is reduced.

Krone Cutterbar

Krone cutterbars feature lifetime oil filling thanks to the completely welded design that won't leak nor lose shape even after years of use. This eliminates the need for oil changes. Krone has developed satellite gears and spur gears, ensuring positive mesh, slow speed, quiet running and efficient power transmission across every disc for maximum longevity. The wedge shaped cutterbar is adjustable through a large setting range which enables short stubble cuts in meadows and pastures and longer stubble in long stemmed field crops.
