At the heart of the CX490D is CASE’s Intelligent Hydraulic System (CIHS), which continuously monitors load pressure through sensors to optimise power delivery. Five energy-saving functions including Boom Economy Control, Swing Relief Control, and Spool Stroke Control, automatically adjust flow and pressure for smoother, more efficient performance. Operators can choose between three working modes (A, H, and SP) or rely on Auto Power Boost for instant hydraulic pressure when tackling the toughest digging or lifting tasks. Operator comfort and safety are built into every detail. The ROPS and FOPS Level II cab is spacious, pressurised, and quiet, featuring a high-back air-suspension seat, fully adjustable workstation, and a large 7-inch LED monitor with real-time diagnostics. Improved air conditioning, low vibration levels, and optional rear and side-view cameras enhance visibility and comfort. Ground-level service points, 1,000-hour greasing intervals, and the standard refuelling pump with automatic cut-off make maintenance quick, safe, and simple.
