The direct cutting system allows the BiG X to cut and chop whole crop silage in one operation, featuring SmartCut for high-quality and clean cuts, and SafeCut for impact damage protection. The powerful 900 mm diameter feed auger on the XDisc 620 works trouble-free even in dense and tall crops.

SafeCut

In the event a disc collides with a foreign object, the roll pin that connects each disc to the gear is sheared off. This raises the affected disc up on a thread and out of the way, preventing the disc from being lost. SafeCut prevents damaged discs from colliding with neighbouring discs, preventing spur gear damage.
